These terms and conditions apply to customers who are purchasing their keys and/or other goods online through our online key-cutting service, as well as any other of Metrolocks’ customers.
By accessing and using this service, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. In addition, when using these particular services, you shall be subject to any posted guidelines or rules applicable to such services. Any participation in this service will constitute acceptance of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
This site and its components are offered for informational purposes only; this site shall not be responsible or liable for the accuracy, usefulness or availability of any information transmitted or made available via the site, and shall not be responsible or liable for any error or omissions in that information.
The company reserves the right to change these conditions from time to time as it sees fit and your continued use of the site will signify your acceptance of any adjustment to these terms. You are therefore advised to re-read this statement on a regular basis.
Accepted payment methods: we accept Visa and MasterCard transactions, as well as payment by BACS/cheque on a pro forma basis. Items will only be ordered, fabricated or shipped once funds have cleared. In exceptional circumstances, we can arrange to send customers an invoice to be paid on a 30-day basis.
Payments usually take place in our online payment facility. Sometimes you may receive a call from our head office asking to take card payment over the telephone.
Payments are made in pounds sterling (£).
Refund and Returns Policy
Refunds: in the event that a product is faulty or that a key doesn’t work through no fault of the customer’s, we will do our utmost to ensure that any errors are corrected. Failing this, we can issue a full or partial refund, depending on the circumstances.
Returns: Most goods are custom goods (e.g. replacement keys for specific locks) and cannot be returned. In some circumstances a return of goods may be possible. Returns should be sent to our head office address. We cannot be responsible for non-delivery of returned items.
Once the wares are ready and payment has been made, we will post items as soon as possible. In most cases, this will be arranged the same day, however we cannot guarantee this.
It is the responsibility of the customer to provide us with a correct delivery address. We cannot be liable for items delivered incorrectly by Royal Mail or any other delivery service.
