After acquiring a tonne of specialist equipment, and after a day of intense training, we can now cut car keys! That’s right: we can make spare copies of most types of car key.
It’s generally quite quick with us: the average time taken is about ten minutes from start to finish.
But how does it work?
1. Tell us what car you have
Not all car keys are made in the same way. A newer car has a different transponder chip in it than an older car. A Ford Transit van key normally gets made in a different way to other keys.
We need to know only three things: make, model, and year. For example, Ford Focus made in 2010.
2. We let you know what we can offer
Once we know what type of car you have, we can tell you what we can offer you. In most cases, we’ll be able to make a copy of the blade and the chip inside your car key.
We’ll be able to give you a free quote for any car key you need.
3. Come to our workshop
In 99% of cases, we’ll need you to come to our workshop in the car that you need spare keys for. Most car keys need to be programmed in conjunction with the vehicle.
Our workshop in Seven Sisters, London N17 has a car park, and is conveniently located just off the A10.
4. We’ll do the rest
Once you’re here, we’ll take care of the rest. It usually takes no longer than ten minutes to make a full, working copy of your key.
